Sr. Salesforce CPQ (Consultant)
Total Experience:
- 5 + Years
Salesforce resource with CPQ / Steelbrick experience. Ability to work with clients to identify needs and gather requirements. Will be expected to provide SFDC solutions to meet client needs including design, configuration, and testing activities. Expected to achieve and retain SFDC certifications.
Job Description:
Role & responsibilities:
- Demonstrate thought leadership by developing and evangelizing leading practices and Points of View for CPQ and related capabilities
- Support presales activities, including customer discovery workshops, sales presentations, project scoping, and proposal writing
- Coach/guide/advise executive-level clients about CPQ and related capabilities, the influence of upstream and downstream processes on these business areas, and meaningful measures of success
- Play a hands-on role in CPQ system implementation projects by leading business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design
- Use advanced analytical and conceptual skills to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions for our clients
- Interact effectively with all levels of a client organization to build consensus and achieve goals and objectives
- Develop reusable toolkits and templates for efficient project delivery.
Skills Required
- Bachelors Degree in business, information systems or equivalent experience
- 5 years experience with CPQ and related processes
- Configuration and implementation experience with Salesforce CPQ, Apttus, Oracle or SAP strongly preferred, but not required
- Diverse knowledge of functional aspects of Sales, Service, Operations, and Finance
- Strong consultative and interpersonal skills to build partnerships & manage engagements with business and IT professionals
- Strong process-oriented mindset
- Skilled at respectfully challenge the status quo and influencing others to achieve results
- Proactive, responsive, and results-driven
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to handle multiple planned and unplanned tasks, roles and responsibilities
- Experience with the complete lifecycle of complex enterprise projects; understanding of core project management concepts, theories, practices, and methods
