Job Responsibilities
Manage the configuration and installation of hardware and software.
Provide technical support for any hardware or software complaints users may have.
Respond to any issues and troubleshoot outages.
Regularly create and verify data backups.
Ensure security features like firewalls, malware protection software, etc. are
installed.
Monitor system performance and keep track of findings.
Create a manual with technical documentation of IT processes that can be used by
any of the staff
Writing documentation and operating manuals.
Testing and modifying systems to ensure that they operate reliably
User training and support
Fault finding, diagnosing, and fixing bugs

Technical Skills required for a System Support Engineer:
LINUX
Hands of experience in advance level of Linux Server Administration and support.
Hands of experience in different Servers Like- Ubuntu, Redhat, Centos and
Debian
Install, Configure, and maintain Linux OS and system software, backup and
recovery, system monitoring, disaster recovery, security, audit, capacity, tool
support.
Good knowledge of shell scripts for automation of daily tasks
Perform Monthly Windows and Linux patching

WINDOWS

Should have good experience in Windows Server 2012/2016/2019.
Install, Configure, and maintain VMware Virtualization platform, Windows OS
and system software, backup and recovery, system monitoring, disaster
recovery, security, audit, capacity, tool support.
Good knowledge of DNS, DHCP, ACTIVE DIRECTORY and IIS
Good knowledge on Windows RDS Service
Good knowledge of shell scripts for automation of daily tasks
Perform Monthly Windows and Linux patching
Good knowledge of Active directory and Group.
