Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Should have experience handing EPC contract of 66kV to 220/400kV Transmission lines, Substation packages, Industrial / Wind / Solar / Power projects
  • Candidate from Renewable Industry would be preferred but not mandatory
  • Direct procurement of Electrical items viz. Power Transformers, Cables, Scada, Automation, Control Panels and other Substation and Transmission line components
  • Should be well aware of FIDIC Contract terms and condition and Import / Export formalities, drafting of contract and PO terms and conditions
  • Develop New vendor / alternate source development for performance improvements and cost savings
  • Materials / tools inventory management and ensure optimised inventory available at site
  • Invoice scrutiny and coordinate for invoice booking and timely payments to vendors and manage vendor sustainability
  • Should be able to prepare BOQs, modify and optimise according to customer requirements
  • Coordination with Engineering for technical evaluation
  • Expediting, coordination and follow-up with all stake holders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services to ensure timely commissioning of project
  • Internal / external customer satisfaction
  • Commercial closure of POs and contracts
  • Prepare cost comparisons, zero based costing, e-sourcing & reverse auction, negotiate, cost savings, analysis, award
  • HSE, Quality and statutory compliances,
  • Warranty management / settlement of claims and disputes
  • Value analysis & value engineering, implementation of cost saving ideas / projects /protos
  • Audit & compliance, ethics and integrity
  • Prepare MIS and weekly management reports and presentation
  • Maintain metal/commodity trend review & tracking zero base costing, market bench marking
