Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

Job Purpose

This position is responsible to strategically drive the development and execution of risk assessments and mitigation plans to enhance the ability to identify, evaluate, prioritize and mitigate risks

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Perform complex business process assessments and design solutions to improve operational efficiency and compliance
  • Understand how business functions operate and how industry trends impact business
  • Effectively perform the technical components of risk assessments to provide an accurate view of current risk state
  • Assess and design internal controls by applying an understanding of internal control design frameworks and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct internal audits by leveraging approved processes and methodologies
  • Build and apply Extended Enterprise Risk Management (EERM) methodologies, frameworks, processes and tools
  • Enable data-driven and tailored recommendations to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance of EERM infrastructures
  • Develop and implement need-based, value-adding, and cost-effective ERM solutions
  • Conduct workshops and brainstorming sessions for business functions and providing support in risk identification & assessment
  • Directing the execution of key compliance and risk projects and automation of regulatory documentation
  • Coordinate all Audit Committee Meetings, presentation and leading discussions on risk, internal audit, control effectiveness & efficiency


Desired Candidate Profile

Job Requirements

Qualifications

CA/ICWA/MBA Finance/Commerce Graduate

Experience

Should have 8+ yrs exp in ERM/ORM from Banks/NBFC s

Functional Competencies

Strong understanding of risks entailed in running of a financial institution

Experience in designing & implementing ERM framework, mechanisms and programs

Hands-on experience developing and driving programs or projects within schedules

Demonstrated ability to engage and influence people and teams at every level in the organization

Behavioral Competencies

Strong negotiation & influencing skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Problem solving and decision-making skills

People Management & Networking skills
