Job Summary
Roles and Responsibilities
The role will be responsible for AFPL own plants & Contract Manufacturing sites which includes operation, production, maintenance, Finance, People, supply chain, Quality etc.Planning and organizing production schedule.Identify gaps and risk mitigation under Detailed Production Schedule, Material Requisition Planning, Distribution planning, Physical logistics and all other areas impacting unit s performance Managing own Plants & Contract Manufacturing sites;Oversee the production process,Ensure that the production is cost effective;
- Ensure day to day operations run smoothly
- Assessing project and resource requirement.
- Draft a timescale for the job;
- Estimate costs and set the quality standards;
- Development and maintenance of a generic BOQ with standard costs
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed;
- Be responsible for the selection, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment;
- Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmes;
- Liaise among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers;
- Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals;
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed;
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers;
- Review worker performance;
- Identify training needs.
- Ensure on time execution of events by close coordination with Factory and HO stake holders.
- Collaborate with peer factory production heads to understand best practices, liaise with Supply Chain, Procurement, Factory Management and Application Group to drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate downstream the needs to instill customer service orientation within plant's organization.
- Involvement in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage.
- An important part of the job is dealing with workers and employees.
