Job Summary
Understanding of Microfinance product such as JLG, Individual Lending, BC is must. (Knowledge of whole sale
lending will be an added advantage)
Sound knowledge of Microfinance operations, and services as well as knowledge of standard banking/finance
compliance regulations, non -banking law, business law related to MFIs, employment and labor law, operational
policies and procedures.
Good understanding of technology and digitization of financial services specially related to microfinance.
Proven ability building and running forecasting Business plan as well as financial analysis is essential.
High standards of integrity, accuracy, attention to detail and precision.
Proficient in analyzing market trend, provide critical input for Business development initiative and formulation of
strategies for sales and marketing
Optimize product pricing ,Responsible for revenue generation and P&L accountability.
Implementation of annual BC Business planning, development of training module and execution of training
programs.
Monitor and be aware of industry trends and impacting the product line to identify opportunities. Regular
monitoring of the BC and gather information on their product performance for analysis and appraisals
Designing , analyzing and implementing customer acquisition and retention product strategy .Liaise with
regulatory compliance to meet relevant unsecured lending regulatory and compliance requirement
Responsible for managing activities which deliver favorable metrics and financial result against plan both for
Direct lending as well as Indirect lending ( BC Operation)

Identification and Assessment of potential BC partner, draft proposal and get approval to appoint new Bcs.
Responsible for setting up Business correspondent network, manage BC network with respect to product, policy
and process
Develop and customize loan product to fit the BC partners for their potential target segment and also work on
continuous improvement on the product proposition.
Prepare BRD for introduction of new software, UAT of new software before implementation , training of different
teams on new software for HDBFS and partner BCs
Taking approval from the internal risk and compliance on the new product and process ( Direct & Indirect
Lending)
Work in sync with different department such as Operations IT, Compliance, Credit, Legal team in developing the
process and policies for BC and HDB Micro lending operations
Ensure review of HDB and BC portfolio at regular interval and their appropriate reporting
Design and run marketing campaign such as Quarterly & Annual RnR for HDBFS as well as partnered BC.
At least 12 years of experience in financial services, out of which 10 years should have been in middle/senior
management positions in a MFI/SFB/Banks or similar financial services provider.
Should have Excellent listening, written and oral communication skill.
Effective presentation skills across a range for internal and external audiences.

Desired Candidate Profile
Master s degree or greater in business or finance is desirable. MBA full time preferred.At least 12 years of experience in financial services, out of which 10 years should have been in middle/senior
management positions in a MFI/SFB/Banks or similar financial services provider.
Should have Excellent listening, written and oral communication skill.
Effective presentation skills across a range for internal and external audiences.
