Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our team in Bangalore. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright frameworks. You will work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright frameworks.- Execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality and performance of web applications.- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to identify test scenarios and automate them.- Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to provide input on testing efforts.- Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to adapt to changes in the application.- Troubleshoot and debug issues identified during test execution, working closely with the development team to resolve them.- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.- Document test cases, test plans, and test results to ensure thorough test coverage.- Work with CI/CD tools to automate test execution and integrate testing into the software development lifecycle.- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong proficiency in Selenium and/or Playwright.- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.- Experience with programming languages such as Java or Python (optional but beneficial).- Familiarity with test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.- Knowledge of web application testing techniques and best practices.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Experience working in an Agile development environment.- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
