Job Summary Roles and Responsibilities

Production -

-Managing the production volumes with optimum variable cost

- Manage product quality & in adequate numbers according to demand by customers

- Identify & resolve all bottlenecks & identify all areass which need improvement & stabilize production flows

IN ORDER TO meet customer demands in terms of quality, cost & delivery.

'Process and Plant Engineering

- Review plant capacity in relation to the Operations Plan, enhance utilisation of available machinery, identify and recommend procurement of new machinery, review & enhance the production process and plant layout

- Plan for preventive and predictive maintenance of equipments/tools - Resolve recurring maintenance problems

IN ORDER TO enhance productivity and ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery process.

Production , Planning & Control

- Understand customer requirements & convert it into daily plans

- Adjust plans wherever there are deviations

- Monitor work in progress & ensure adequate stocks of finished goods/ raw material/ packing material & smooth flow of components

- Prepare an annual budget to incorporate costs

IN ORDER TO minimise costs & delivery times.

Annual Planning/ Strategic Planning

- Understand stakeholders expectations and work towards realising them by conducting manufacturing planning , manpower planning, capacity planning, setup quality, cost & delivery expectations

- Review plans periodically against progress

- Communicate plans to Operations on a timely basis

IN ORDER TO cater to future needs or surges in demand.

Process Quality

- Supervise implementation of quality processes, understand and implement customer quality requirements

- Address customer complaints related to quality, highlight issues related to total quality and recommend corrective action

IN ORDER TO ensure adherence to quality standards and achievement of quality targets.Inhouse scrap reduction and variance analysis.

Stores & Logistics

- Receipt - Stocking - Issue

- Rejection & other operations

- Inventory Management

- Monitor Packing Design, Costing and Quality

- Timely Dispatch as per the requirement

- Finished Goods inventory

Education-

UG:B.Tech/B.E. in Automobile, Mechanical

PG:Post Graduation Not Required

Doctorate:Doctorate Not Required
Experience Required :

18 to 20 Years
