Roles and Responsibilities ROLE OBJECTIVE - To handle Inprocess QA independently RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure effective handling of Inprocess QA. - Carry out process and product audit to ensure adherence of quality systems. - Should have in-depth knowledge of molding process - Eliminating defects by using various tools. - Ensures Document Control is established and ensures training profiles are assigned and enforced and training administration is established within scope - Handling of customer Complaints and Audits independently - Management and Coordination of Change Controls for the Site - Knowledge of GD&T for drawing reading and dimension measurements Quality Functions - Tracking and monitoring of performance against the set monthly, weekly, daily targets at all the workstations. - Deployment & ensuring adherence to all Quality Management Targets in line with corporate and unit level targets. - Ensuring POKA YOKE functioning effectively on all testers. - Create awareness on customer concerns / complaints / requirements with shop floor team. To drive New product development activities from Quality side Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice capacity planning vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Quality Management Systems (QMS) Job Requirements EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE BE/ B. Tech (Electronic, Mechanical) Six Sigma Green/Belt preferred Knowledge of Quality Core Tools Knowledge of GD&T preferred CRITICAL EXPERIENCE 8 to 10 + years of experience in injection molding domain. Should have experience in handling customer Complaints and Audit Experience in preparing Documents such as PFC, CP, FMEA, MSA COMPETENCIES Technical capabilities of Molding process: Should be Expert in documentation (PFC, CP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) knowledge. Should have knowledge of GD&T Should be expert in molding process Global-local stakeholder alignment: Developing relationships with key customers Building people capability: Training and mentoring engineers with the necessary skill set, assuring succession & workforce planning & organizational capability Strong technical writing skills, the ability to communicate effectively with management, technical teams and all organizations in the business, and strong problem-solving skills Consultative approach to problem solving to provide solutions and make independent judgements for process improvement
