Job Summary

Electrical Design Engineer

Techfour Engineering Solution is an Engineering Design and consultancy firm involved in MEP Design Services, and engineering auditors are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer. Candidate must be an Engineering Graduate with a min of 3-4 year of experience. Applicant must be able to demonstrate an established career in residential, commercial, and industrial design specific to Design and Construction documentation with familiarity with design codes and references. Duties will include performing all electrical engineering tasks for projects, designing, specification writing, Design Basis Report, performing calculations and efficiency analysis, BOQ, estimating costs, Verification of shop drawings, and reviewing with clients.

Education

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in hands-on electrical systems engineering design including construction documents demonstrating the ability to complete electrical systems analysis, design, and report writing.
  • Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint presentation, Dialux, and MS Word
  • Must have some familiarity with construction Design codes.
  • Experience working with and creating wiring diagrams.
  • Experience working with Control panels & Inverters.
  • IBMS & building automation knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Must possess the ability to do site visits to assess all electrical equipment and controls.
  • Some travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Able to lead the electrical design on a multi-discipline project.
  • Must be able to create and assemble a complete set of electrical construction documents.
  • Review and audit construction specifications in Master Spec and Specs Intact.
  • Assist in mentoring the design activities of drafting team to verify that quality controls and project criteria are met and within budget.
