This full-time remote role involves both front-end and back-end development, including theme and plugin customization, site integration, and security management.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand website design goals and functional requirements.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly website front-end layouts.
• Build and maintain website architecture, including back-end server and database integration.
• Customize and develop WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client needs.
• Convert UX/UI designs from Figma or Adobe XD into fully functional WordPress websites.
• Conduct performance testing, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes.
• Provide WordPress training and technical support to clients.
• Monitor and optimize live website performance and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a WordPress developer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.
• Solid knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugin development.
• Hands-on experience with popular WordPress page builders like WPBakery and Elementor.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and plugins such as Yoast SEO.
• Experience with version control tools (Git, Mercurial, SVN).
• Skilled in debugging tools including Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Good understanding of website aesthetics and architecture.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
