Title: IOT Architect

Location: Hyderabad - Remote

Experience: 12+ years

We are currently hiring an IOT Architect to join our team. This role involves building, leading, and growing a highly collaborative team and acts as a thought leader for the team. You will forge a vision that the whole team can use as a beacon or guiding light in the performance of their duties and communicate the vision in order to deliver the next paradigm in customer experience, hence, always keeping the business s product relevant and engaging to the consumers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility of IOT practice
• Create awareness, adoption of emerging technologies & applications
• Design of products/ solutions platform & execute go-to-market strategy
• Focus on clean high-quality code and solid designs.
• Lead pre-sales, & sales teams for business development in key verticals
• Provide consultative solutions & support for large & complex projects
• Engage with CXOs for value proposition & business case presentations
• Ensure successful project roll out, implementation & execution
• Build domain expertise & thought leadership in industry forums
• Hands-on contribution to the technical code and design documentation
• Develop Strategic Relationships with Customers by translating business strategy into technical vision
• Assist in responding to RFPs and RFIs
• Identify and evaluate the technologies that will be used for the projects based on requirements & technology trends
• Ability to work independently and with a small team.
• Ability to manage tasks for a team, work effectively with cross-functional teams

Skills Required:

Technical Skills

Non-negotiable Skills:

• Good knowledge on Electronics and IoT
• Strong knowledge on at least one of the IoT platform ( GCP, Azure,Mainflux, AWS or mainflux)
• Experience in Cloud native architecture and design
• Hands on experience in Programming in Java, Python and C (Optional)
• Strong knowledge on computer networking and cybersecurity
• Knowledge on Kubernetes , serverless computing and NoSQL databases (Document based DBs, Graph DBs and Time series Databases)
• Knowledge on communication protocols used in IoT

Consulting Skills

Non-negotiable Skills:

• Ability to conceive and propose solution for a business problem
• Ability to architect and identify the dependencies required for the solution. Should be able to prepare cost estimates including multiple factors
• Knowledge on best practices of IoT solution development and deployment
• Ability to draft, represent and communicate the solution and thoughts in a standardized way
• Ability to convert the product goal into actionable user stories for the team to work on

Desirable skills

• Ability to identify the opportunities and product road map based on input from market research
• Review and guide the marketing team for campaign strategies, implementation and rollout
• Ability to review the deliverables from creative teams and give feedback for their relevance for marketing or presentations
• Ability to draft RFP responses
• Ability to write solution briefs, blogs and other contents enabling sales.
