Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Manager to join our team as an Associate Principal Specialist in Chennai. In this key role, you will manage and optimize enterprise data infrastructure, maintain data consistency across systems like ERP, BI, and Salesforce, and ensure data warehouse integration supports advanced reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee metadata and data management to ensure consistency across multiple platforms (ERP, BI, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Manage and optimize data warehouse (DWH) structures for effective BI reporting and analytics.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand data architecture and reporting needs.
  • Lead integration processes between systems to enhance data flow and usability.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain compliance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate development of data projects.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (BI, S&P, EBiz, Hyperion) to drive collaborative data strategies.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for data processing, access, and consumption.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Master s degree in Finance, Systems, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in data analytics and data management.
  • Strong finance background with experience in ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing, system integration, and metadata structures.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, Outlook.
