Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Development Manager to lead maintenance and support operations across our Retail and Enterprise Banking platforms. This leadership role involves ensuring platform stability, handling regulatory updates, and delivering continuous enhancements in a Java-based, cloud-oriented environment.

You ll lead high-performing support and maintenance teams focused on delivering excellence in bug fixes, incident management, platform optimization, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production support, incident resolution, and service request delivery (L2/L3 support) for retail and enterprise banking systems.
• Oversee patch management, minor enhancements, and performance optimization tasks.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations by implementing timely updates and patches.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring technical issues and lead permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure efficient and reliable deployments.
• Continuously improve system reliability, security, and application performance.
• Engage with client support teams to address escalations and audit-related matters.
• Drive operational excellence and promote a culture of continuous improvement in support practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 14+ years of experience in enterprise software development and maintenance, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of retail and enterprise banking products, platforms, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with support workflows, debugging tools, and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), and the ITIL framework.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
