THE ROLE

Working closely with Management of Productand Development, Product Governance team members will determine how bestpractice processes should be followed by the Product organization and willreport on metrics and KPIs, aiming to produce measurable results towards theachievement of strategies and goals.
ProductGovernance sets, oversees and monitors adherence to the framework that ensuresinvestment supports business objectives while providing on-going support toconfirm objective, transparent measurement of selected and defined activities.
Therange of governance activity will encompass the full Product lifespan: from roadmap& pipeline management, throughout the entire software development life cycle(SDLC), culminating in Go-To-Market activity, capitalisation tracking and auditsupport (internal & external).
TheProduct Governance team members are collaborative enabler, fully invested inthe successful performance of key stakeholders at every level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitoring individual project deliverables and enhancements e.g., ensuring Delivery Managers (DMs) and Project Delivery Managers (PDMs) regularly provide accurate, timely project status reports, demonstrate adherence to post-triage activity, understand application or measurement of Project & Key Deliverable RAG status and can clearly articulate factors contributing to cause of change in cost, time and quality.
  • Tracking reporting and management of project risk from pre-contract identification & approval, throughout delivery and Lessons Learned reviews through to mitigation application of risks identified in new pipeline opportunities.
  • Robust verification of Decision Requests raised to change to status, scope or delivery date of Calendar of Commitment (CoC) deliverable to ensure we have an up-to-date view which will be used for reporting to Senior Management.
  • Consolidation of Client Project (Regional) & Strategic Initiative (Business Unit (BU)) portfolio KPIs, RAGs, Risks and cause of change analysis to facilitate objective project performance comparison and refine list of projects requiring additional scrutiny during 1st and 2nd level reviews.
  • Prepare the draft of Client Project or Strategic Initiative status commentary for inclusion in Product Board reports Management and provision of Sales pipeline reports (managed in T-Force) in order to;
  • Work with Regional Delivery Heads (RDHs) to proactively manage early triage engagement; and Provide Product Directors (PDs) with early visibility of regional pipelines to assist with Roadmap planning and Strategic Initiative alignment.
  • To promote end to end triage visibility, regular deep dive triage reviews conducted with RDHs & PDMs to constantly reconfirm gap lists on implementing projects accurately reflect all enhancements explicitly agreed for development (internal or contractual).
  • Incorporate GTM governance into Strategic Initiative reviews and maintain system generated reports & dashboards to ensure GTM plans requiring attention are escalated to the GTM Manager
  • Collaborate with Sales and Services operations & governance to promote alignment of data across common tools and reports
  • Manage list of active development inter-dependencies to ensure delivery alignment is transparent across all BUs and clearly represented in consolidated monthly BU & regional reports
  • Participating in all other areas of delivery governance from initiation through to project closureIdentification and sharing of best practice across projects and BUs
  • Assisting the Head of Product Governance in definingand updating governance processes, standards and adherence
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 3 + years of experience in a software environment.
  • Graduate in Computer science or equivalent (B.E or B.Tech)
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite Excel, PPT, Word, Visio.
  • Strong time management and team working skills.
  • Experience in remote management of stakeholders.
  • Extensive exposure working within a Shared Service Centre environment
  • Knowledge of or exposure to the banking sector
  • Stakeholder focused
  • Familiarity with SDLC process
  • Exceptional communication skills in English both written and verbal
  • Project Management certification (Prince, PMP, Agile) desirable not mandatory
