Job Summary

Team : Product Engineering PE

Role / Responsibilities :

  • Be responsible for driving new product development from designs stage to high volume production.
  • Managing IC product mass production including, major WS/FT/SLT failure bin analysis in ramp up stage, continuous yield improvement, excursion management, risk assessment, DPPM reduction, customer RMA sample analysis and production release.
  • Use data processing tools like Exensio , O+,Jump, Data Power, Excel used to calculate CPK, identify outliers, set limits and guard bands based on statistics.
  • Be responsible for HW/SW integration, qualification and characterization plan development, first silicon debug, process experiment (split) definition, device characterization, data analysis, product documentation/presentation, test limit (guard band) generation.
  • Work very closely with test and design engineers to release product to full production.
  • Perform Test program modification , Release and debug on the tester platform.
  • Run cross functional meeting with project team members and across time zones and sites.
  • Manage customer returns and RMA process and drive timely closure.
  • Participate in yield analysis, drive necessary improvement actions on silicon process, setting optimization, and testing robustness in order to improve yield to target Work with reliability engineers to achieve successful product qualifications.
  • Failure analysis support for customer returned issue.

Preferred Qualification :

  • Requires BE / B.Tech degree in Electrical / Electronic with 1 to 8+ years of Semiconductor Product engineering experience.
  • Experience/knowledge in new product characterization, qualification and strong analytical skills, ability to problem solve and debug systems, circuits, and devices.
  • Deep understanding of statistical data analysis along with data analysis tools such as Excel VBA / Spotfire / O+ / JMP / Galaxy.
  • Should have basic to advance Knowledge of the ATE Tester, V93K is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to problem solve and debug systems, circuits, and devices.
  • Experienced in product coordination, yield improvement & test time reduction.
  • Working knowledge of semiconductor quality and automotive standard process control.
  • Hands-on experience with production & Characterization data collection at Wafer as well as Package level.
  • Experience in working in production test floors, bench instruments & ATE is a plus.
  • Experience with Probers and Handlers is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills as well as detail-oriented work ethic and project management knowledge.
