Job Summary Job Title: Architect Job Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We are seeking a creative and experienced Architect to join our team. As an Architect, you will play a crucial role in the design, planning, and execution of architectural projects, ensuring that designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. You will work closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to bring projects to life from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities: Design and plan architectural projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other relevant software. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals, ensuring designs meet their expectations. Lead project teams, overseeing the work of junior architects, designers, and other team members. Ensure that all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned. Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, monitor construction progress, and address issues as they arise. Present designs and proposals to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. 3+ years of experience in architectural design and project management. Strong proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite). In-depth knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, construction materials, and methods. Strong understanding of sustainability and green building practices. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and defend design ideas to clients and stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Preferred Qualifications: Licensed Architect or in the process of obtaining licensure. Experience with large-scale projects or specific project types (e.g., commercial, residential, urban planning). Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other advanced design technologies. Knowledge of sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).
