Job Description

The role of Head of HR India of Teva India is to develop and implement the HR strategy in order to both gain the country business objectives as well as employees' engagement.

This person is responsible for leading all HR aspects for the country, and partner with the sr. management forum.

Roles & Resposibilities
  • Lead talent strategy to achieve business objectives, while creating and ensuring culture of engagement
  • Drive country workforce planning and talent development including succession plan
  • Develop integrated solutions by working in partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees
  • Accountability for all 'Hire to Retire' processes (recruiting, development, Total reward, welfare & wellbeing)
  • Work with Global Center of Expertise teams to translate global HR frameworks into India context and needs (Performance management, Total rewards practices, Global career architecture etc.)
  • Ensure that India strategies are supported with HR programs to provide competitive advantage
  • Consult to management on human resource-related issues
  • Provide coaching for top management members
  • Create various internal communication channels to constantly improve employees' engagement
  • Responsibility for labor relations practice in the country
  • Manage a team of HR managers and professionals, and manage matrix country CoE teams (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Services)
Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years' experience as senior HR, resolving complex employee relations issues.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis,
employee relations, diversity, performance management

Proven track record from high volume and high complex global organization, preferred from Pharma or API industries or other global manufacturing organization

Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience.
Master's degree or MBA preferred.
