Job Summary

Organizes Board/committee meetings including meeting material, planned content, experts and advisors. Develops materials for Board/committee meetings. Updates content received from multiple sources within and outside BNYM. Assigned businesses/business partners are typically executives and/or the highest level of management within the organization.Prepares and processes documents for specific meetings to Board/committee members including, meeting minutes, Board and Committee meetings and the annual shareholder meeting.Efficiently schedules meetings, arranges location of meetings, creates personalized itinerary as well as coordinates travel arrangements for members of the Board of Directors/Committees.Acts as a Board Concierge to Board/Committee members by creating individualized travel itinerary, completing expense reports, arranging transportation services and ensuring the completion of billing for auditing purposes.Ensures compliance obligations under relevant laws and the requirements of regulatory authorities are met from a corporate governance perspective.Reviews and ensures correctness of the legal database on a regular basis with the relevant legal entity data in preparation for an external audit.Meets the needs of staff by developing ways to optimize the performance of the Bank's Corporate Governance function.No direct reports, provides technical advice/guidance to less experienced Corporate Governance/Board Support roles as needed.Responsibilities are primarily limited to assigned business/business partner areas. However, tasks may produce cross-regional impacts.Modified based upon local regulations/requirements.Bachelor s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.5-7 years of total work experience preferred. Corporate Governance experience is preferred.
