Job Summary

Responsibility of purchase of all items as and when required. Quotation Comparison of rates between suppliers and final rate approval from the higher authority. Verification of the requisition slips from the outlets. Sending purchase orders to suppliers by email or fax. Making purchase orders after the final order is placed. To confirm whether the material has reached to the destination or not. Making daily purchase report. Material follow up and Delivery tracking. Maintain all relevant record and Quotations. Lead time analysis for each route with mode of Transport. Bills and challans submission to Accounts department. Market Survey time to time for exact price of materials. Follow-up with the existing vendors and developing new vendors. Must conduct meetings with suppliers and negotiating for best rates and quality of products. To check on the brand of products purchased.
