The Glitch is Indias leading creative agency and is a part of WPP. We believe that through shaping culture, great business results can be delivered, and by being strategically driven great creative can be achieved.We are currently looking for a Manager in the Commercial team. This role is responsible for managing the tasks and operations of the agency and the basic production work in the video team

This role reports to the Senior Manager.

In three months:
- Understand the work style of everyone in the team and how the process goes about.
- Get familiar with everyone and know who you will be reporting to on a daily basis.
- Ask questions and clear doubts as your learn on your new job.
In six months:
- Begin to get in the flow of the work, imbibe the work culture in you and go about with daily operations accordingly.
- Report to your seniors in case you face any issues or challenges you cant resolve alone.
In 12 months:

- Build a rapport with the vendors.
- By the end of the year the vendors should recognize you and deal with you smoothly.
What your day job looks like at The Glitch
- Managing operations in the Video team and the back end duties of the agency.
- Negotiating with vendors on the submission of work and haggling on the price.
- Get approval from seniors on payment and make closures as soon as possible.
- Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
What youll bring
- Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Solid understanding of financial management
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelors degree in operations management or a related field.
- Prior experience in the same field of 1 year minimum.
