Job Summary
  • Manage and direct the day to day operations of the QA team activities and tasks
  • Being a mentor , providing and sharing domain knowledge leading to continuous improvement, innovation, and automation for all QA team efforts
  • Implement best practice processes and frameworks for overall QA strategy of platform related to:
    - Test case creation
    - Testing execution & automation Test case repository and documentation
    - Regression testing
    - Risk coverage
  • Be able to analyze and identify platform deficiencies/gaps via testing plans and through customer support issues/recommendations to build out platform enhancements and improvements
  • Have the ability to review and interrogate functional and non-functional requirements and chart a course of direction for implementation
  • Responsible for working across Dev and Support teams to help classify issues, bugs, defects, etc
  • Provide leadership and recommendations related to backlog refinement and prioritization, story documentation and creation, and acceptance criteria
  • Be an active participant during platform enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance outages
  • Produce and manage detailed E2E reports that will provide an audit trail and traceability to show best in breed processes for the following scenarios:
    - Requirements -> Development -> Deploy
    - Bug Identification -> Fix & Mitigation -> QA -> Re-Deploy
  • Have above average technical IT experience and exposure related to industry SDLC methodologies, with preferable exposure to:
    - Microsoft development tool stack (SQL Server, Azure, DevOps, C#, .NET, MVC frameworks)
    - Testing automation tools and frameworks: Jenkins, Maven, JDK
  • 8 + years of elevated QA experience and leadership with emphasis in Agile work environment, and a pedigree of leading and directing QA resources
  • Ideal candidate would be proficient and familiar with MS DevOps/JIRA or other similar Agile collaboration tools and platforms

    B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech/MCA
