Role Overview

We re looking for a Senior UX designer who can help us to solve complex problems for products across web and mobile platforms. You will be an important member of the Thence User Experience & Design team and help drive the solution for products that support both Thence Clients. At Thence, you ll have the opportunity to define how users interact and use our applications within the sharing economy and be a true innovator in the services space.

This position works closely with the Director, Product Analyst, UI designer, Developers, and Visual designers to create engaging designs that reflect business requirements, support user needs, and are technically feasible. Qualified candidates will be experienced UX designers who can quickly work on to create wireframes and ideas into elegant solutions and finished mocks.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Experience designing complex applications for mobile and web
• Be a part of client calls and understand clients requirements.
• Ability to simplify complex information for users.
• Ability to drive user research, Layout user research framework and drive user interview.
• Create Information Architecture, User flow diagrams, wireframes, mock-ups, user journeys
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to lead the UX team and set the right expectation with Product Analyst and the clients.
• Drive UX reviews and feedback sessions with UX designers and guide them with structure, process and solutions.
• Guide, mentor and communicate UX expectation and vision to the UX team members.
• Ability to estimate UX Design time and effort.
• Collaborate with UI designers, developers and client team ensure the solutions are properly implemented and efficient testing and release of designs into the product.

Skills Required

• Have good experience in evaluating client requirements, providing a road map and drive solutions.
• Expert-level knowledge and speed working in Sketch.
• Good understanding of device form factors and design feasibility.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and communicate your ideas to peers and stakeholders
• Great communication skills; the ability to clearly explain design decisions and process to anyone in the company
• Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter who actively seeks ways to improve the customer experience, both visually and functionally
• Attention to details.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be an inspiring and confident team player with:

• 4-5 years of experience in a UX design role
• Have led a team and research-based projects.
• Have managed multiple projects simultaneously
