Job Summary Key Responsibilities: Demand Planning and Merchandise Deployment 1. Development of product segment wise sales plan on rolling quarter basis 2. OTB Limit finalisation and Indent planning for all product segments 3. Store wise Sales and Indent Planning for al L3 stores 4. Administration and deployment of all budgets pertaining to Mela/Exhibitions and Road shows 5. Deployment and Review of SKU wise Central with timely indent placement 6. Safety Stock Planning and Deployment to address Sales variability 7. Supporting Store wise Merchandise planning and recommendations on store wise Norm planning 8. Management of Seasonal planning and indent placement with sign off from ISCM Team 9. Planning of New Product assortments and placement of all NPIM indents for L3 stores New Store Management 1. Adherence to Due Diligence Process for all New store to ensure first assortment relevance to the market 2. Availability of right assortment mix at all new stores for the store launch 3. Recommendation and Sign off on New store First Assortment with L3 associates/regional Teams 4. Commencement of Symphony based daily indenting for all new stores 5. Review and Handholding of new store performance for first 6 months of operations 6. Indent Placement for L3 stores and Inventory Planning for all L2 new stores Productivity of Merchandise Investments 1. Review and action planning for store wise inventory performance to reduce dispersion in Turns across clusters 2. Anchor for Endless initiative to drive sales while minimizing idling of inventory 3. Drive enhanced availability of KVI, regional products and Bestsellers 4. Drive reduction in backend inventory and support deployment of Vendor buffers 5. Deployment and Review of store empowerment on Merchandise investments 6. Drive process improvements to reduce idle inventory in the system across all FG bins including MTO products Aged Stock Management 1. Drive penetration of bestsellers and aggregation of model stock across relevant product segments 2. Drive increase in availability of fresh inventory in the stores 3. Review and drive product group based sell-through targets 4. Monthly Reconciliation and planning of Vendor returns with ISCM Team 5. Extend support in increasing sale of aged variants through regular Best Deal Interventions 6. Deployment of seasonal inventory build-up framework to reduce incidence of aging due to bulk indenting for seasons/activations 7. Drive Adherence to store recalls and compliance to Melting policy Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in category management, preferably in the retail industry - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Proven track record of successfully managing and growing product categories - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools - Willingness to travel as needed Additional Parameters: - Experience in the engineering industry is a plus - Knowledge of the Indian market is preferred - Experience with e-commerce and digital marketing is a plus If you are a self-starter with a passion for driving results and have the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
