Heres what you will bring:

• Recent software development experience with ASP.NET MVC web-based applications and web services using C#.NET and writing SQL Server T-SQL database scripts.
• Good understanding of enterprise application architecture and cloud options.
• Experience in web application security, overseeing application security reviews and best practices.
• Experience with data transfer protocols and methodologies.
• Collaboration experience across distributed project teams with multiple disciplines.
• Experience communicating effectively both technically and in laymans terms.
• Previous participation in design, code and test reviews (including refactoring). Experience as a technical lead with good problem solving, debugging & trouble shooting skills.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and exposure to AGILE and SCRUM methodologies.Oriented Design and design patterns
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Not necessary, but helpful to have experience working with windows desktop applications, windows services and Microsoft Office VSTO Add-Ins.
• Must be ambitious and have a desire to learn new skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and team members.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and identify ambiguity and drive for clarity.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently.

As a Lead Engineer, heres what you can do at Buck:

• Responsible for the workload for a local .NET software development team.
• Responsible for mentoring/training team members where necessary.
• Collaborate on software development projects with business teams and other IT teams globally.
• Project management including assigning and prioritising work.
• Personnel supervision including reporting and mentoring.
• Business analysis of requirements including communicating effectively and documenting specifications.
• Programming work using the coding skills above, including assisting team members andtaking on some of the most complex tasks.
• Taking product management responsibility when necessary.
• Participating in or leading architectural solution discussions and writing technical specifications.
• Performing code reviews as required.
• Follow and ensure the project team adheres to the process defined by the organization.
