Heres what you will bring:

  • User-centered design and UX strategy, planning and execution for online sites, mobile optimized sites and mobile apps incorporating usability, applying standards, using various tools to create graphical interfaces across a variety of devices and platforms.
  • Ability to deliver engaging, interfaces that make our secure data-driven and transactional systems easy to use.
  • Demonstrated ability to define new approaches to complex UI design problems
  • Proficient at designing information architecture (strategy/execution for structuring/presenting web assets such as content, videos, and interactive material such as widgets and portlets)
  • Capable of understanding online behavior through user research methodologies; can lead focus groups and conduct usability testing and make adjustments based on user feedback
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Ability to work with the client, product and project managers, and technical developers to understand requirements and help interpret them into an engaging interface
  • Ability to develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how a site will look and function
  • Ability to create original graphic designs (infographics, tables, etc)
  • Good understanding of current UX interaction trends across all systems, including transactions, form optimization, information architecture, social media integration and navigation approaches.
  • Stay abreast of UX trends, as well as corporate and industry standards looking for creative ideas
  • Understand and adhere to web/mobile standards on fonts, colors and images
  • Understand web accessibility requirements and ability to implement at different levels
  • Ability to develop creative design approaches within client brand guidelines
  • Ability to provide final detailed design specifications and assets for front-end developers to implement.
  • Ability to propose interaction options, such as gamification approaches, is a plus
  • Ability to work closely with developers to ensure the end product meets the prototype standards

  • A strong portfolio with work that displays solid conceptual thinking and methodology
  • Experience in various mediums (i.e., web, interactive, responsive web design, apps)
  • Knowledge of Human Resources (e.g., benefits, compensation, change management) and Communication business (e.g., content, design, production, technology) is a plus
  • Good written communication skills and strong oral communication skills
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, organization and time management skills
