Role Summary: We are looking for an Agile Software Project Manager to join our global Technology team. As an Agile PM, you will serve as the scrum master or project manager for delivery teams or squads , enabling them to self-organize, remove impediments, and develop an environment for impactful team dynamics, continuous delivery, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with partners to translate business outcomes into manageable deliveries - lead budgets, and build all project artifacts needed to successfully deliver the business outcomes required. What you'll be doing: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for Own delivery for projects including technical and business tasks and outcomes. Work with Engineering leads and Product Owners to drive the right outcomes from your team Partner with our businesses, to identify their problems and required outcomes - ensuring clear KPI s and benefit realisation planning is in place, aligned to the business outcomes Focus on delivering value early fail fast if vital but always strive to deliver value over excessive debating of options! Efficiently identify and minimise risks and issues. Identify associated opportunities, actions, and decisions to ensure project delivery is on time with quality. Collaborate with technical and business teams to implement, measure, and learn via metrics and retrospectives. Work closely with key partners to implement the changes, giving due time and attention to the importance of business change management Develop budgets, control spend and lead vendor relationships, and prepare status updates as required Understand business requirements to reliably identify roadblocks and solutions. Ability to know when to call out issues to the right team and/or person. Work collaboratively and use Agile standard methodologies to support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and long-term release planning. Employees must be aware of the responsibility placed on them to maintain and healthy and safe working environment for both staff and visitors What we're looking for: A bias for action roll your sleeves up and get things done! Project leadership experience on concurrent mid to large-scale projects. Experience rolling out SaaS solutions, as well as product led development. Deep experience with the Agile methodology, working with squads, product owners and engineering leads across tech functions. Using metrics to drive improvements in processes. Experience leading projects across international time zones in a completely virtual environment. Good commercial and decision-making skills, with experience of budget control within a CAPEX environment. Passionate about solving business problems through the power of technology. Written and verbal presentation skills including creation and delivery of effective presentations. Influencing skills, including experience working within a larger matrixed organization. Analytical, relationship building, and problem-solving abilities, and collaborate across team boundaries. Communicates effectively with team members, partners, and levels of management.
