Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • As an Individual Contributor (60%)
    • Identify opportunities by discovering unarticulated user needs
    • Apply a user experience lens to improve products and applications
    • Guide collocated teams through design thinking exercises to improve offerings
    • Help teams quickly build prototypes and minimum viable products
  • As a Team Leader (40%)
    • Build a small team of specialists; delegate and supervise work
    • Mentor future SMEs and emerging technical talent

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in human-centric design, human-computer interaction, or related fields
  • Design-thinking certification
  • Successful track record of applying Design Thinking in Product Development
  • 5-10 years of experience in Design, Design/Business Consulting or Usability Research
  • Experience with designing Data and Analytics products is a plus
Role You will lead Design Thinking and User Experience, which is one of the four capability areas within Innovation Studio. You will report to the Head of Innovation and frequently work with the Chief Operating Officer and other leadership team members. As the leader of this area, you will blend deep expertise in Design Thinking and User Experience with an innovation mindset to create powerful business applications.
