Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic UX/UI Designer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing user-centric web applications and improving user experiences. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to create engaging, responsive, and visually appealing designs. Your responsibilities will span from conducting research to creating mockups and prototypes, ensuring that all designs meet business and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. UX Design:

• Research & Wireframing:
  • Conduct basic user research and create wireframes to define user flows.
  • Develop Figma mockups to visualize designs and user interactions.
• Website & Web Application Design:
  • Design engaging mockups for websites and web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• User Feedback Analysis:
  • Gather user feedback and make design improvements based on the analysis.

2. UI Design:

• Responsive Web Design:
  • Develop responsive web designs using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap, adhering to design coding standards.
• UI Frameworks:
  • Learn and work with SASS, Angular Material, MUI, React UI, and other UI frameworks as used in the projects.
• Prototyping:
  • Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows and interactions.

3. Collaboration:

• Design Feasibility:
  • Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and maintain design consistency across platforms.
• Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align design solutions with business objectives and user needs.

4. Design Enhancements:

• Refining Visuals:
  • Continuously refine visual designs to maintain design standards and ensure a consistent user experience.
• Accessibility Compliance:
  • Ensure that all designs are optimized for all users, including those with accessibility requirements.

5. Unit Testing & QA:

• Testing UI Components:
  • Test UI components for functionality, responsiveness, and user interactions.
• Issue Resolution:
  • Identify design-related issues and collaborate with the development team to resolve them.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with Figma for designing mockups and prototypes.
  • Knowledge of UI frameworks such as SASS, Angular Material, MUI, and React UI is a plus.
• Design Skills:
  • Understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity in design work.
• Collaboration Skills:
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders.
• Analytical & Problem-solving:
  • Strong ability to analyze user feedback and improve designs based on data.
• Additional Skills:
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards and how to implement them in designs.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript is a plus but not required.
