Backend Developer Job in Tricog Health Pte Ltd

At Tricog, we are building clinical grade medical technology systems. We are a well funded (3 rounds) company with a large vision for transforming the landscape of Medical Technology. We have 1600 customers in 12 different companies. Tricog has a variety of skilled engineers including a data science team and a hardware design team. With 6 Phds on board, we work on solving deep technical problems with a large social impact.

We are looking for a highly skilled computer programmer for the position of a Backend Developer.

Our systems need to function without errors 24x7, 365 days a year. They need to be precise and resilient as we deal with real time critical real time patient diagnostics.

You will be responsible for developing and designing front end and back end architecture and programs working alongside with Data science team, graphic designers and product managers. You will get an opportunity to understand and learn deep tech in areas of computational science, optimisations and integrations with hardware systems.

Tricog is working towards world class certifications for secure and reliable code and your code and design quality will need to reflect this. Experience with unit testing will be appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Produce fully functional programs writing clean, testable code
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements
• Integrate back-end data
• Upgrade and repair existing programs
• Perform periodical tests and debugging to maximize program efficiency
• Create technical documentation
• Suggest new features to improve program navigation and operation
• Follow security principles
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments
• Experiment and evaluate technologies through PoCs and study.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science.
• Proficiency with server side languages. NodeJS mandatory.
• Proficiency with database technology such as MySQL and MongoDB.
• Strong grasp of security principles in Client Server architecture
• Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure
• Familiarity with at least a couple of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React etc will be helpful.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
