Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Take responsibility of handling and executing critical activities for the implementation of an APC Lead the APC projects end-to-end from refineries Being responsible for deliverables pertaining to APC solutions Ensure the engineering workflow is adhered to and project is executed as per the Quality Management System Prepare periodic reports (like weekly commissioning report, time sheet, SAT) and update the relevant stakeholders Ensure Time Sheets are maintained periodically Ensure customer queries are resolved on time & maintain customer relationship through professional approach Efficient in Process Analysis and estimating the areas where optimization is required to enhance productivity Responsible for providing remote assistance to installed base Building and training the team members Key Competencies: 10+ years experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations / process controls / process engineering Hands-on experience with Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring and First Principle Implementation of Advance Process Control for refineries Operational experience with the following units: CDU VDU CCR FCCU Steam reformer DCU HGU 7+ years of experience of using the commercial APC softwares such as AvevaTM APC, ABB Ability Expert Optimizer, Honeywell UniSim Profit Suite, Aspen DMCplus / DMC3, Yokogawa SMOC etc. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to implement thermodynamic models to obtain practical engineering solutions to difficult problems Ability to work independently, as well as with others in a diverse team environment Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and to communicate effectively with customers Possesses a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow-up skills Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in Fluent English Interested in working with customers and willing to travel 40% of the time
