Job Summary

Role: Senior Copywriter A senior copywriter will have a proven track record as a copywriter, with a deep understanding of the ways copy helps clients achieve their aims, and the ability to generate immaculate copy for every brief. Comfortable and confident in their writing, and willing to help less senior members of staff to improve their copy skills, senior copywriters are leading figures in a creative team and are always ready to rise to any challenging brief with a keen eye for detail, and a drive to deliver the sharpest, most dazzling copy. This role requires complete self-assurance, as the senior copywriter is in charge of influencing consumers by delivering a clear message, as well as using their initiative to seek out new trends and incorporate them into campaigns effectively. Working alongside art directors, developers and designers, senior copywriters must be keen team players and self-sufficient multi-taskers, full of original approaches and innovative ideas. Responsibilities Demonstrate strong capabilities of understanding client briefs/brand requirements and deliver high-quality content that adheres to the brand s tone of voice Develop creative strategies that are forward-thinking and in-line with current media trends Spontaneously conceptualizing, ideating and writing content and copy for digital campaigns, websites, emailers, banners, social media posts and video scripts Content creation that aligns with a central theme, concept and visual identity Create and develop strategically-rooted ideas and brand stories Familiarity with new digital content formats and the latest trends will be a plus Ensuring all the deliverables meet the desired requirements and are delivered within deadlines REQUIREMENTS Bachelor s degree in marketing or an equivalent field required. 6+ years experience of copywriting or related communications experience required. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to train, direct, lead and evaluate the work of the copy team. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently. Ability to judge creative concepts and copy, and clearly communicate creative direction to others.
