Section Incharge (ICP) - Food Lab :

Job Profile

Allocation of day to day work to the technical staff and supervising the work of Jr. Analysts/Analysts in the respective departments.

Adhering to the schedule of work, including commitments by ensuring timely issue of results.

To ensure that the laboratory meets the customer s requirements in terms of detection and quantification limits.

Overall preparation of the Standard operating procedures and the work instructions. Ensure that the tests are done in accordance with the method.

Validation of the test methods and establish and standardize the new methods and tests as required by the market.

To ensure that the national and international standards are available for all tests and are followed while conduct of these test.

Maintain the Reference Materials in the laboratory and monitor their use.

Examine and verify test results and take actions if any.

Monitor the equipment maintenance and verification plan & calibration schedule & its implementation.

Calculation of the UOM for the tests in their respective departments and in house calibrations.

Implementation of ISO 17025 Quality System as applicable in the laboratory.

Review of reports & Authorization of result.

Correctness of the analytical results.

Qualification :
Graduate/ Post Graduate in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects OR Diploma in chemical engineering / technology, Food technology
Experience Required :

5 to 10 Years
