ENGINEERING DELIVERY LEADER

ROLE SUMMARY

Your mission is to build a world-class engineering practice at TVS Next. Youve done the work over the years, found out whats worked and what hasnt, and now your mission is to elevate the status and practice of Software engineering across our team, our clients, and the software industry at large.

This leadership position requires an executive presence, a sharp agile intellect, creative flexibility, boundless energy, and optimism. It requires devil-is-in-the-details precision as well as top-of-the-mountain panoramic vision. The individual must possess the leadership and organizational abilities to lead the engineering team through rapid growth, striking the right balance between process and execution while remaining nimble and responsive. The role also demands an individual with keen interpersonal intelligence capable of building and sustaining strong relationships within TVS Next and among its customers, alliances and partners.

You will be responsible for aligning all operational aspects of the company with client / market expectations and to assist Executive Leadership Team in the successful growth of the company.

People

• Recruit, hire, grow and retain amazing talent into the organization

Process improvement

• Develop and/or improve tools, systems, processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Establish and refine service delivery processes to ensure customer satisfaction across customer journey
• Achieve cost-profit margin objectives by utilizing Lean and other operational excellence techniques to continually reduce total cost of operations and improve quality
• Work with project leads to understand and eradicate client escalations
• Develop and drive/sponsor initiatives across groups

Profitability

• Work with PM, Finance and Delivery to ensure effective reporting
• Work with Sales, AM, PM and Delivery to maximise profitability on projects

Organisational development

• Provide strategic direction and act as a thought leader for the technical organization
• Ensure goals and spending fit in with the company s overall plans and budget
• Work with the executive team in the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes
• Fostering a culture of achievement and quality delivery that permeates the entire development organization
• Developing strong relationships with customers, alliances and key stakeholders

Service/Asset development

• Support Leveraged Expertise to drive the service portfolio and roadmaps in response to our customers needs
• Support Marketing to develop our market communication strategy / capabilities
• Support Sales/AM to develop go to market strategies for various services
• Develop cost estimates and assumptions with sales team for new deal design
• Develop our competitiveness in the market
• Support Solutions teams in helping build frameworks, assets and reusables

Community Activities

• Engage the tech community by occasionally attending and speaking at meetups, conferences, and other events
• Celebrate and share the good work that we do at TVS Next
