Job Summary

Role Description Function: Legal Reports to: Sr. Legal Counsel Work on the corporate secretarial matters of the company as required under the Companies Act, 2013. Ensure compliances during issuance and allotment of securities by way of a rights issue and / or private placement. Work on incorporation of company, alteration of constitutional documents, charge related filings and similar matters. Undertake necessary filings with various authorities in a timely manner. Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment. Research and comply with the company law, SEBI and FEMA regulations. Support all audit activities (Internal Audit, Secretarial Audit, Business periodical checks, etc.) Maintain a corporate repository - statutory registers, board meeting and general meeting documents in relation to notice, agenda, minutes and attendance registers. KRAs: Drive the Cost Targets for Zone/Category Benchmarking Process Controls Candidate Profile Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience and must be a Qualified CS having ICSI membership. Experience to handle corporate secretarial matters, exposure in a public listed company or secretarial practice will be an added advantage Fast learner and must remain up to date with regulatory changes Works hard and does what it takes to get results and meets deadlines Effectively handles multiple projects or tasks at the same time Good team player, communication skills and a positive attitude Functional Competencies Problem solving: Solve business problem with multiple data streams impacting decision making.
