Description

The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design and coding of websites specifically in PHP format. You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using PHP programming language and MySQL Server databases.

Responsibilities

-Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms

-Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UI UX) team

-Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications

-Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required.

-Document features, technical specifications & infrastructure.

-Take ownership of the project you will be working on

-Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.

-Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies

-Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

-Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

Requirements

-Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for 3-5 years

-BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar relevant field

-In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5 PHP Framework

-Expertise in Developing Web Applications using PHP programing language or Laravel Framework.

-Expertise in working with MYSQL Database.

-Knowledge of code versioning tools like Git, SVN,

-Expertise developing REST APIs is a plus

-Intentional commitment to code quality through bug fixes, refactoring, unit testing, and automation

-Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business value quickly

-Good to have front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), Mongo DB, Elastic Search, AWS.
