Job Summary

MAIN JOB PURPOSE: The Beauty & Wellbeing business has a clear ambition to double top line growth, whilst maintaining margin, through big purposeful brand investment and multi-year science-backed premium innovation. To deliver this, there must be seamless integration of both our strategy and its execution, combined with radical simplification across the entire value chain. This will allow us to liberate non-value add costs from the business, improve resilience, agility, and speed to market, whilst also delivering against our sustainability agenda. As the new Global Procurement Assistant Beauty & Wellbeing, you are the voice of Procurement to the partnering functions, ensuring procurement representation in the strategic business group agenda and the voice of the business group within Procurement, translating business needs into procurement strategy. You are in the great position of being able to see both sides, so you can see and drive for extra value that can be created MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES: Role Responsibilities: You are the growth engine: You can see the big picture within the end-to-end value chain and aid value creation for the BG. Where programs and activities overlap you work as part of x-functional team to drive delivery. You are the storyteller: You use your strategic influencing skills to drive procurement considerations and recommendations within the BG. You are a teacher: You work collaboratively with your peers, by sharing and taking best practice for the benefit of the BG and overall procurement community. You ensure clarity and alignment on ways of working with x-functional partners. Key Deliverables: Support in ideation, delivery and tracking of the sustainability initiatives. Provide cost/price modelling and business critical data to support business case development for key sustainability initiatives. Tracking and reporting to BG on sustainability metrics, on both in-year and up to 3year horizon, highlighting key gaps in delivery vs targets. Drive deployment of supplier partnership strategy, ensuring alignment with R&D and SC teams, whilst keeping focus on superiority, desirability and future technologies. Organization of Supplier Partnership events. Experience Required: Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or R&D. Experience in project management and/or project planning. Ability to work in virtual teams. Excellent communication skills. Analytical skills. Experience of Procurement processes is an advantage. Good networking and relationship management skills.
