Job Summary

MAIN JOB PURPOSE: 4 key SAP Transactional systems in Unilever are supporting business worth 50+ billion Euros across Business Groups spread across 200 countries with over 50000+ users. Core ERP s operate in a complex landscape where they in turn are connected to multiple KFAS Systems. We are seeking an experienced SAP Professional to lead a dynamic team responsible for delivering and optimizing IT solutions on Core ERP systems that empower global business operations. The Core ERP DevOps team is at the forefront of enabling efficient Order to Cash and related processes, contributing to the success of Unilever's supply chain cycles. This leadership role entails overseeing both Development and Operations activities across multiple Core ERPs, ensuring alignment with Unilever's working methodologies. The individual will be responsible to lead a Globally diverse Team and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, provide strategic guidance, and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, customer satisfaction within the order to cash cycle. Strong understanding of Supply Chain business processes for designing a strategy that optimally integrates with these processes in SAP technology. Project Management Establish project scope, deliverables, and success criteria, regularly communicating progress to senior management. Build and manage a high-performing Global team, assigning tasks, setting expectations, and providing guidance. Foster strong collaboration between technical and business teams, ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and requirements. Process Enhancement: Utilize deep expertise in SAP order-to-cash processes to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and streamlining. Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyse current processes, identify pain points, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy. Best Practice Guidance: Provide expert guidance on industry best practices and SAP capabilities related to order-to-cash processes. Stay current with SAP updates and innovations, incorporating relevant advancements into process improvements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless end-to-end order-to-cash operations. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, define business processes, and ensure successful implementation of SAP solutions. Quality Assurance: Define and Ensure Quality on the deliverables/outcomes and influence the strategy for testing to optimize the costs with predictable quality while esuring accurate system configurations and integrations. Ensure and hold accountability for data accuracy and system functionality to maintain the highest levels of quality. Ensure compliance to audit requirements as required. Resilience Operations: Ensure continuity and sustainability of Core ERP operations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a comprehensive operational resilience strategy that minimizes disruptions and safeguards critical business processes. Serve as a point of contact during operational disruptions, guiding response efforts, coordinating resources, and communicating with key stakeholders. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational resilience effectiveness. Continuously monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and proactively address vulnerabilities. Vendor Partnering Conduct regular reviews on KPI , SLA s and Operations with vendor partners, assessing their compliance with contractual obligations, quality of work, and overall contribution. Hold accountability for vendor spends and ensure adherence to project and support budgets. Collaborate closely to ensure vendor deliverables align with project objectives and timelines. Foster strong, collaborative relationships with vendors, acting as the primary point of contact for project-related matters. Manage expectations, communicate project and Operations requirements, and address issues promptly to maintain productive partnerships. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Essential Skills Experience in managing, scaling & deploying large & complex transformation programs/projects Experience driven understanding of SAP S/4 HANA's architecture, functionalities, modules, and integration points. Experience on implementing S/4 HANA Green or Brownfield Experience in managing IT Operations with global coverage and large-scale teams Experience in Supply Chain- Order to Cash processes. Innovation and Problem-Solving: A track record of innovative thinking and the ability to apply creative problem-solving techniques to overcome challenges during complex projects and transformations. Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing relationships with external vendors, consultants, and key stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong & trustworthy relationships with people from across different functions. Effectively able to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. This includes articulating project goals, milestones, and achievements to diverse stakeholders. Experience working in a global context and understanding the nuances of working across different cultures and regions. The ability to adapt management styles and communication to suit diverse teams is valuable. Proficiency in addressing conflicts that may arise within cross-functional teams or among stakeholders and finding constructive solutions to maintain positive working relationships.
