Job Description

• Verifies patient by reading patient identification & collect blood samples from patients
• Transport the collected samples to Lab. As per NABL guidelines and generally accepted principles
• Tracks collected specimens by initialing, dating, and noting times of collection; maintaining daily tallies of collections performed.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Keep the stock updated (expiry, sufficient quantity etc), inventory managementKeep the phlebotomy cart or station well-organized at all times
• Cash collection from patient and submission to Lab reception
• Manage walk in patients when required
• Answering queries of direct patient
• Record Keeping of Home Visit / Hospital Visit
