What success looks like in this role:

• Proficiency in cloud Technologies such as AWS - IaaS & PaaS.
• Hands on in design/implementation, migration / development application.
• Proficiency in VPC, EC2, Storage, Route53, IAM, RDS, SG, Route Table, IGW, Direct Connect, VPN, VPC Peering.
• Backup and Recovery using Cloud native tools.
• Proficiency in implementation security solutions like Guard duty, AWS Inspector, AWS CloudWatch, Cloud Trail.
• Successful technical consulting and architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
• Migration expertise from on prem to cloud and across providers.
• Domain experience in Industry Vertical.
• Should possess Business communication and leadership skills.
• Having hands on experience on Containerization, Terraform and micro services architecture-based application design will strengthen the role.
• Deep working experience leveraging cloud platform native services for ex - EC2, Redshift, etc.
• Hands on development, design and architecture experience is essential

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Day to Day operations support to the customer and providing timely solution.
• Help customers with their Cloud IT Strategy and Roadmap development based on their Business strategies (capturing current state, defining future state-To-be architecture leveraging Cloud Foundry) and building Transition state architecture.
• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the Cloud platforms.
• Evangelize and execute solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
• In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Cloud.
• Educate customer on the value proposition of Cloud platforms, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customer organization to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud

Required Skills :

• AWS Solution Architect Associate Certified / AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate is must.
• Certified / Experienced on other Public Cloud like: Azure, GCP, OCI etc.
• Hands on experience working on AWS related services both from design and issue perspective.
• 5 + years of experience working on Information technology.
• 3+ years of working experience on core AWS Services.
• Expert level knowledge in one of the operating system Windows / Linux.
• Intermediate / expert level of knowledge in Databases like, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, No-SQL.
• Expertise in scripting and automation on any platform.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in related business or technical areas, or an equivalency of education and work experience.

Minimum of 5-7 years of IT Security and/or security engineering experience

5-7 years related experience in Computer Security, with proven focus on Cloud Security. Clear passion for cloud Security and Cloud technologies.

Must have experience with virtualization (cloud or non-cloud)

Expert knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, security architectures, and standards

Deep technical knowledge of Amazon Web Services, and FedRAMP

Able to demonstrate clear understanding of current threats to Cloud infrastructure and/or IT infrastructures at technical and managerial levels

Able to automate/script daily tasks through Python, Bash or equivalent

Experience with web-based applications or web-services

Proficient in Linux system design, automation and operations

Experience in designing and implementing standards, specifications and procedures.

Demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for achieving results.

Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Knowledge of network and web related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols)

Skilled in discussing complex security issues in understandable business terms.

Very detailed knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques

Security certification desired (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CEH, etc)

Experience using Microsoft Visio
