Key Qualifications

Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor s degree; equivalent work experience.
BS in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related degree and relevant experience.
Specific technical skill requirements include proficiency in demonstrating/performing one or more skills in each technical skill group.
Key Responsibilities
Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs.
Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, mobile apps or desktop applications products.
Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
Models and applies software engineering methods and techniques to the design, development, integration, qualification and/or support of the products and tools within one or more areas of expertise.
Works independently or cooperatively as a member of a team.
Often assumes technical and project leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain reporting solutions per reporting requirements
Need to be involved in data scrapping and maintaining the quality of data.
Importing/Collecting, cleaning, converting and analyzing the data for the purpose of find insights and making conclusions
Assist the Data scientist / Data Engineer in development of new analytical tools and methods as and when required.
Assist in development, testing and maintenance of data warehouses in support of reporting solutions to enable clients to perform their own ad-hoc querying, reporting, and analysis
Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from clients regarding issues and/or questions about reports
Support reporting operations by working closely with other development teams to quickly resolve operational issues
Create and maintain technical documentation
Provide technical support to project team members
Serve as hands-on developer on project teams to develop BI solutions.
Assist in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with BI solutions.
Analyze user requirements and, based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications.
Assist the integration efforts for merging BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications.
Design, code, test, and document all new or modified BI systems, applications, and programs.
Assist in the implementation and use of BI software tools and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses.
Ensuring high levels of BI availability through support functions and in-depth testing.
Assist in assessing and cultivating long-term strategic goals for BI development in conjunction with end users, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Develop the semantic layer, metadata, reports, and report definitions.
Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software; performance-tune these applications as necessary.
