Job Description

JOB PROFILE:

Carry out Quality Assurance Process within the organization which involves at least the following.

  • Responsible and accountable for formalizing and maintaining the quality assurance process within the organization, and see through the complete implementation within the organization.
  • Responsible and accountable for managing the testing team which includes testing the product for meeting the requirements, installation, release management, deployment, and post deployment activities.
  • Responsible for producing Quality Assurance reports.
  • Responsible for mentoring the testing team.
  • Responsible for doing periodic review of support calls, collect customer feedback and provide suggestions for improvements.
  • Be part of requirements gathering, requirements analysis, design, development, testing and deployment process so as to achieve overall hands-on experience and provide suggestions for improvement in the quality.
  • Responsible and accountable for the accreditation on Quality Assurance and ERP product modules necessary for the Quality Assurance Process.
  • Principal qualifications required for job

  • Must possess at least Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science with major in Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Must have demonstrable experience in establishing Quality Management Systems in previous organizations.
  • Must have a software development experience with coding experience in c#, Java, or other OOP language.
  • Must be able to write SQL queries.
  • Must be proficient in requirements and design validation.
  • Must have demonstrable experience in writing test suites for automated testing.
  • Must be proficient in release management process.
  • Must be certified IT quality assurance personnel.
  • Must be knowledgeable in IT security.
  • Preferred having experience in testing ERP systems.
  • Must have project management experience using Agile, DSDM, PRINCEII, or other project management methodology.
  • Key competences

  • Must have customization or implementation experience in an ERP like Epicor9, SAP, Oracle Financials, Microsoft Dynamics, or Navision, and have at least worked with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, General Ledger and Materials Management module.
  • Must have worked with multiple types of user interfaces like windows desktop, mobile phones, and web browsers.
  • The job requires working independently, or in cross functional team.
  • Must have analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Must have demonstrable experience in SDLC methodology such as waterfall, SCRUM, or agile methodologies.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Must be able to work with no supervision and also lead others.
  • Must be able to work abroad for extended periods.
