Data Scientist Job in Unusual Hire

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
• Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
• Combine models through ensemble modeling
• Present information using data visualization techniques
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
• Collaborate with engineering and product development team

Essential Qualifications:

• Strong background in Advanced Analytics, Statistical algorithms & application (Regression, Clustering, Classification, crosstab, time series etc )
• Hand on in handling very large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
• Hand on experience in R/Python and its application
• Business understanding for requirement gathering
• Knowledge of Power BI , tableau , QlikView is preferred
• Good experience in Power Point presentations is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with diverse teams in a highly matrixed environment

• Knowledge of RDBMS & Business Intelligence solutions
