Purpose of the Role:
- IP enforcement to maintain competitive edge
- Patent Invalidation to create early launch opportunity
- Review of agreements and negotiate IP clauses with third parties
Job Responsibilities:
- Invalidity analysis of competitor patents, Preparing defenses
- Analysis of prior arts. Arguments for patent Opposition
- Review of agreements, IP clauses
- Preparing arguments during litigation, timely completion of requirements of IP litigations
Required Education and Experience:
- 10-12 years of experience in IP litigation
- M.Sc. Or PhD (Chemistry), LLB from a reputed university/ institute.
- Experience on handling Indian litigation. Should have experience to work with local counsel in India to work on IP enforcement matter.
- Exposure to Global Patent Litigation. Should have experience on US patent litigation and deposition.
- Experience to review agreements. Should have experience to review IP clauses in agreement with partners.
- Experience to conduct Freedom to Operate and Pre-screening of various technology in the fieldof agriculture.
- Should have experience to handle team of 3 4 patent specialist.
- Should have good communication skill set to work with outside counsel and with the marketing team.
