Job Description:

• Experienced in Linux (Redhat/Centos, Debian/Ubuntu) servers.
• Should have experience working with live web servers(web hosting industry), Apache, MySQL, hosting control panels
• Monitoring and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with hosting control panel(Cpanel, Plesk)
• Knowledge in virtualization technologies(Openvz/Xen/KVM)
• Familiarity with control panels for managing virtualization(Solusvm, PVM)
• Kernel compilation and tweaking
• Shell scripting
• Software compilation and installation from source

• Package management(yum, apt-get)
• Service management(init, upstart, systemd)
• Log management
• Backup and disaster recovery
• Firewall management(iptables, csf)
• Good understanding of networking concepts and IP allocation
• Excellent communication skills
