Job Summary

PHP developers create server-side web applications using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) scripting languages. They are in charge of developing and programming back-end components and connecting the application to other web services. PHP developers also work with front-end developers to ensure their work integrates into the application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyzing the website and application needs.

• Writing back-end PHP code and building practical PHP modules.

• Building optimized databases for back-end portals.

• Troubleshooting issues with code and applications.

• Integrating data storage solutions.

• Responding to requests for integration by front-end development teams.

• The finalization of back-end features and testing web-based applications.

• Modifying and updating elements of applications to increase performance.

Requirements:

• A bachelor s degree or competitive skills in PHP.

• Experience with PHP web frameworks, including Yii, Laravel, and CodeIgniter.

• Experience with front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.

• The understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.

• Experience in developing applications that scale.

• Experienced with tools for modifying code such as Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN.

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.

• The ability to manage projects.

• Effective problem-solving skills.
