Job Summary:

The key responsibilities are handling Payroll Operations, Employee TDS filings, Individual IT returns, Form 16 generation, monthly statutory filing of multiple clients, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of payroll.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
    • Processing and validating client payroll for 1000 employees (Bothmanual and Software).
    • Preparing Monthly Report (Salary JV, Salary monthly Variance, Cost Center & Attrition report, etc.) as per the client request.
    • Handling Employees Monthly Statutory filing Activities (PF, ESI, PT & LWF) and ensure monthly reports to the client.
    • File TDS tax returns, ensuring that they are in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
    • Collecting and preparing tax data, reviewing returns, performing tax research, and maintaining records.
    • Generating Form 16 for employees
    • Through knowledge about TDS and 24Q filing activities for Client.
    • Ensure that client requirements are fully understood by the Payroll Team.
    • Ensuring the delivery of a high quality, responsive and efficient service within the stipulated TAT.
    • Act as a single point of contact for escalation or general client questions and be responsible for issue.

    Job Specifications

    • Qualification(s):
      • Any graduation.

      • Experience
        • Nature of Experience: Handling payroll, Employee TDS and Income tax for multiple clients.
        • Length of Experience: 2 - 3 years.
      • Skill Set & Personality Traits required:
        • Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant or Tax Analyst.
        • Must have strong practical work experience in TDS, Individual IT returns and payroll process.
        • Worked in a CA firm with Multiple clients will be an added advantage.
        • Ready to take up challenging tasks with a go getter attitude.
        • Should have good excel knowledge.
        • Excellent communication skills.
        • Should be well versed in settlement process.
      • Location: Chennai
        • Age Group: 22 28 years.
          • Additional information:
            • Experience in end to end payroll functions, Tax filings and Tax returns will be preferred.
