Senior Accountant Job in Valenta Bpo

Overview:

• To manage incoming workflow from the client
  
• Oversee all the activities performed by staff accountant
  
• First point of communication for client
  
• Main objective is to achieve timely delivery of work to client with high accuracy
  

Duties:

• Knowledge of basic accounting processes like
  
• Accounts Payable (AP)
  
• Accounts Receivables (AR)
  
• Daily Sales Report (DSR)
  
• General Journal Entries
  
• Payroll
  
• Preparation of Cheques
  
• Fund Transfer
  
• Finalisation of accounts, etc
  
• Operate, support and review the day-to-day accounting operations and month-end activities & processes for designated clients
  
• Interact with the client via email and/or phone (if required)
  
• Resolve queries in a timely manner working around the established TATs (turnaround times)
  
• Strictly adhere to the SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
  
• Collaborate with the supervisor and designated clients on their respective daily functions
  

Other requirements:

• Understanding processes and documenting them as detailed SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) as and when required
  
• Effectively communicate all escalations to the supervisor
  
• Train new resources as and when required
  
• Detail oriented
  
• Highly Organised
  
• Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
  
• Excellent communication skills for being able to manage verbal(phone conversations) and written communication (emails, work documents etc) within the team and with clients
  

Requirements

Salary: INR 4,30,000-5,00,000

Looking to onboard As soon as possible

• A commerce/ accounting graduate or Inter C.A - with 2-3 years of experience working in KPO or with a Chartered Accountant firm
  
• Prior exp in US / CAD accounting
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Require to communicating directly with client via phone / email communication
