Sitecore - Frontend - Senior Developer Job in Valtech

In your role as a Sitecore Frontend - Senior Developer, you make the impact we have on our customers measurable. What you do

A seasoned professional with 4+ years of industry experience with a spread of 2-3 years in JavaScript development experience with an emphasis on e-commerce platform implementations.

Front-End Web Developer with Sitecore CMS experience who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming using Sitecore SXA latest version (v9+)
Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
Take an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works
Optimize web pages for maximum efficiency
Work with global Sitecore team of diverse background, culture, nationality and subject matter expertise

What we ask for

Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features
Prior work experience with with CMS frameworks(Sitecore SXA) and proficient with its core principles
Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including ( Sass or Less depending on your technology stack ), JavaScript and jQuery
Understanding of server-side rendering, its benefits and use cases
Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code
Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing, specifically testing frameworks like Jest.
Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, and Git
Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
Understanding about mobile first approach/PWA/AMP etc.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such photoshop/Figma/Invision is a plus
Good Understanding on Front end framework VueJS
Very good verbal and written communication, global collaboration mindset
