Linux Administrator L2 Infrastructure Support Job in Value Point Systems Pvt Ltd.

1. Managing and implementation of Windows server and Linux (all flavors) server OS.
2. Good technical troubleshooting and interpersonal skills.
3. Provide support for Windows & Linux server related issues as required.
4. Serve as cornerstone for escalating server issues; provide timely response to customer escalations.
5. Perform file system configuration and management; define and perform server backups and recovery procedures.
6. Plan and implement server upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches.
7. Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports.
8. Create shell scripts as required.
9. Open to work in stretched shifts, 24X7 shift, odd working hours and weekends as per the work requirements.
10. Provides direct technical support in Troubleshooting and implementing, the solution for global server infrastructure.
11. Provides direct technical support in planning designing and implementing the solution for global Infrastructure.
12. Develop detailed schematics relating to new installations and existing upgradation, migration or integration.
13. Provides support with an emphasis on Internal SLA and commitments are met on time and with a high level of quality.
14. Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of Windows / Linux Servers.
15. Management skill ofActiveDirectory2012 infrastructure and ADFS.
16. Experienced Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and Federation/Authorization protocols such as SAML 2.0
17. Understanding on Active Directory, AD replication, DNS, DHCP, Group policies, DFSR and time sync incidents.
18. Managing & Updating security patches over the DCs.
19. Strong PowerShell scripting knowledge related to automating infrastructure management.
20. Expertise pertaining to the design and implementation of enterprise access and authentication (Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, Federation based infrastructures).
21. Recommend and execute modifications to server environment in order to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.

22. Develop and maintain training materials and server documentation.
23. Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.
